About the role
In this pivotal role, you will be charged with role of the Business Development Managers to identify, canvass, nurture and ultimately acquire new customers for Converge International across both the Business & Enterprise and Government, Health & Education customer sectors. The role also has the key task of identifying and developing new market opportunities.

The role will also have to engage very closely with the Product Directors and SME daily to develop both product solutions and commercial proposals, as well as the entire Sales team who ultimately will take carriage of the relationships that the BDM develops. 

Duties include
Building strong relationships with customers to achieve revenue growth
Building long term customer relationships through positive and responsive engagement and regular review of customer needs
Ensuring customer relationships grow through the active promotion of key services/contracts 
Attending client expos and presenting EAP awareness sessions to client organisations
Writing proposals and tenders that reflect the needs of the customer, ensuring that pricing and the model of service delivery are consistent with CVI’s preferred approach
Travel within the state is required

About you
You will be a demonstrated Business Development professional with a history of acquiring new leads and business opportunities in a face to face sales environment.  You will have the following competencies/experience/qualifications:

5 years+ senior business development management – new business & new markets (services type industries not essential, but will be highly regarded)
Very strong national B2B customer and sales experience
New market development 
Researching and business identification 
Ability to deliver growth, business planning and problem solving
Strong negotiating skills and consistent track record of delivery
Detailed researching of market, opportunity identification
Strongly structured communications practices
New customer acquisition and customer re-acquisition
Desire and ability to partner with internal stakeholders to achieve strong organizational outcomes is imperative
