Reporting to the General Manager IT, the Senior IT Infrastructure Analyst provides management, support and strategy for ICT infrastructure systems, hardware and cloud technologies. Implementing best practices for change management, the role incorporates troubleshooting, diagnosing, implementing and architecting new and existing solutions for all technical projects and tasks.

Additionally, the role includes responsibility for ensuring the security and integration of computer operations and systems development in accordance with the company’s strategic plan and IT plan.

In this role you will: 
• Design, scope, architect, and implement Infrastructure Solutions.
• Convert business projects into realistic technical solutions and assist the business to make decisions on infrastructure, technology and security.
• Troubleshoot Infrastructure environments for efficient resolution of business-critical applications/systems.
• Liaise with external service providers to identify, troubleshoot and support/maintain the environment.
• Showcase your time management and project management skills balancing your workload across incidents and project work.
• Engage internal business stakeholders at all levels, including senior management stakeholders.
• Explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience in simple brief terms.
• Maintain and develop excellent working relationships with key suppliers, conducting dealings in a professional and appropriate manner.
• Manage workload efficiently and maintain accurate documentation for project work. 
• Continuously strive to improve IT Infrastructure support and business systems.
• Take all reasonable steps to ensure infrastructure is maintained and secured to best practices.

To be successful in this role you will have/be:
• Experience in level 3 support in Infrastructure technologies. 
• 5+ years’ experience in a Microsoft environment.
• Microsoft Azure Administration & Security certifications.
• Commercial experience in implementing and delivering infrastructure and software projects incorporating on-premise and cloud technologies.
• Comprehensive skills designing and implementing Azure technologies including firewalls, network security, gateways, storage, IaaS, PaaS, high availability & scalability. 
• Comprehensive experience in Microsoft Infrastructure technologies, including Azure, Security, and Operating Systems.
• Comprehensive experience administration of Microsoft/Office 365, AAD, EXO, MS Power BI, MS Power Automate. 
• Comprehensive skills in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting networks, including switching/routing, firewalls, wireless, storage, and unified communications. 
• Comprehensive experience with the Essential Eight Maturity Model and the security controls within the Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM).
• Sound knowledge in Microsoft Security technologies including Intune, Endpoint Management, and Threat Analytics.
• Comprehensive knowledge in Backup & Disaster Recovery incorporating on-premise and cloud technologies. 
• Sound knowledge in SQL technologies. 
• Business Process Management and Low-Code Development experience with platforms such as Pegasystems (Highly desirable).
• Advanced degree in ICT/Computer Engineering/Software development.
